At Aurina, we believe your health data is deeply personal. That's why we've built Aurina with privacy as a core principle. We don't collect, store, or share your personal data. Everything stays on your device.

What Data We Collect

None. Aurina does not collect any personal information. Here's what stays on your device:

Your tinnitus profile and match results
Daily tracking entries (loudness, bother ratings)
Spike event logs
App preferences and settings
Sound session history

This data is stored locally using Apple's secure storage mechanisms and is never transmitted to our servers.

Analytics

We do not use any analytics services. We do not track how you use the app, which features you interact with, or how often you open Aurina. Your usage is completely private.

Third-Party Services

Apple App Store

Aurina uses Apple's In-App Purchase system for subscriptions. Apple processes payments and manages subscription status. We receive anonymous transaction information (such as whether you have an active subscription) but no personal details.

RevenueCat

We use RevenueCat to manage subscription entitlements. RevenueCat receives an anonymous user identifier to verify your subscription status. They do not receive your name, email, or any other personal information. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share any data with third parties. We have no data to share because we don't collect any.

Data Security

Your data is stored locally on your device using iOS's built-in security features. If you enable iCloud backup on your device, your Aurina data may be included in your encrypted iCloud backup.

Your Rights

Since all data stays on your device, you have complete control:

Delete your data: Uninstall the app to remove all locally stored data
Export your data: All tracking data is stored in standard formats on your device
No account required: Aurina works without any registration or sign-up

Children's Privacy

Aurina is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

Changes to This Policy

If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be communicated through the app.
