Our Commitment to Privacy

Your health data never leaves your phone. Aurina has no accounts, no tracking and no analytics in the app. We don't know who you are, and we'd like to keep it that way.

What Data We Collect

Nothing about you. Everything you enter in Aurina stays on your phone:

Your tinnitus profile and match results
Daily tracking entries (loudness, bother ratings)
Spike event logs
App preferences and settings
Sound session history

It's kept in your phone's private app storage and is never sent to us. The only thing stored outside your phone is an anonymous purchase record, so the app knows you're subscribed (see Purchases below).

Analytics

The app has no analytics and no tracking. This website counts page visits with Plausible, which uses no cookies and collects no personal data.

Purchases

Google Play and App Store

When you subscribe, Google Play (Android) or Apple (iPhone) handle the payment, as with any app, under their own privacy policies. We never see your payment details, name or email.

RevenueCat

RevenueCat is our subscription service. It keeps an anonymous record of your purchase (a random app ID, which plan and when) so the app can confirm that you're subscribed, and only as long as needed for your subscription and billing. It never receives your name, email or health data. Details: RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.

Data Sharing

We don't sell or share any data. There's nothing to sell: we don't know who you are.

Contact Form

If you write to us through the contact form on this website, your name, email, topic and message arrive in our support inbox (sent via Web3Forms). We use them only to answer you and delete them on request.

Data Security

Your data is stored on your phone using its built-in security: iOS Data Protection on iPhone and iPad, and app-private storage on Android. If you turn on a device backup (iCloud or Google), your Aurina data may be included in your encrypted backup in your own account.

Your Rights

Your data is on your phone, so you're in control:

Delete your data: Uninstall the app to delete everything on your phone. Want the anonymous purchase record deleted too? Email info@aurina.app with your order number (on Google Play it starts with GPA., on iPhone it's on your Apple receipt) and we'll delete it within 30 days.
Export your data: All tracking data is stored in standard formats on your device
No account required: Aurina works without any registration or sign-up

Children's Privacy

Aurina is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

Changes to This Policy

If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be communicated through the app.
