Agreement to Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Aurina ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.
Description of Service
Aurina is a mobile application that provides sound-based tools and educational content for people experiencing tinnitus. The App includes features such as tinnitus frequency matching, sound therapy sessions, daily tracking, and informational articles.
Medical Disclaimer
Aurina is not a medical device. The App does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition. Aurina is intended for general wellness purposes only.
The information and features provided in Aurina are not substitutes for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition.
Seek immediate medical attention if you experience sudden onset of tinnitus, one-sided tinnitus, pulsatile (rhythmic) tinnitus, tinnitus accompanied by hearing loss, dizziness, or pain.
Subscriptions and Payments
Free Trial
Aurina offers a 7-day free trial. During the trial period, you have access to all features. You will not be charged unless you subscribe.
Subscription Plans
Aurina offers monthly and lifetime subscription options. Prices are displayed in the App and may vary by region.
Billing
All payments are processed through Apple's App Store. Monthly subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings. Upon cancellation, you will retain access until the end of your current billing period.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use Aurina only for its intended purpose and in compliance with all applicable laws. You may not:
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Share your subscription access with others
Intellectual Property
Aurina and all its content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express permission.
Disclaimer of Warranties
Aurina is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We make no guarantees regarding the effectiveness of any sounds or features for managing tinnitus.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of Aurina.
Safe Listening
When using Aurina with headphones or speakers, please listen at safe volume levels. Prolonged exposure to loud sounds may cause hearing damage. Start at a low volume and gradually increase to a comfortable level.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, through in-app notifications. Your continued use of Aurina after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Switzerland, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
